The Priory is proud to welcome the Festival Players for their 2010 SUMMER TOUR - THE TEMPEST
The Festival Players Theatre Company celebrates 25 years of acclaimed professional theatre with an exciting new production of Shakespeare’s final, great poetic comedy. The exiled Duke Prospero conjures a tempestuous storm to lure his enemies to a strange and mysterious island, drawing them through a web of enchantment and illusion as his powers reach their summit: A colourful and fascinating tale for all the family.

Please note parking is available in the canal car-park by Greenway bridge (follow the road opposite The Priory). This is a 2 minute walk away from The Priory. Please note due to the nature of the property and gardens we have very limited disabled access. We would ask you to share cars where possible to reduce congestion and fuel consumption.
We will be open from 6.00pm. Limited seating will be available please bring rugs and cushions.
Refreshments will be available to purchase from our tearooms.
For anyone wishing to purchase food we will be serving an Elizabethan savory platter to share as well as Strawberries and cream and a small selection of sweet and savory nibbles.
Berverages will include hot and cold soft drinks as well as a small selection of wines and beers etc.
