We are open! Tuesday the 26th January 2010 Well what a year that was, the builders finally moved out two days before our first event in October, just a bit of a panic!! However the 17th century crewel work embroidery workshop run by Phillipa Turnbull was very well attended and thoroughly enjoyed by all. One of our guests travelled all the way from Memphis, Tennessee.
The end is in sight. Friday the 20th February 2009 It is now February 2009 and my goodness what a difference a year makes. This time last year we were just starting work on the gardens by taking down some of the trees. Now I am constantly surprised by the comments of friends and visitors who express amazement when they see the transformation...
